These Terms of Service govern your use of Lux Nails services and our website. By booking an appointment or using our site, you agree to these terms.
Booking & Appointments
Appointments may be made by phone, in person, or through our online booking system (when available). We may request a credit card to hold appointments for premium services or large group bookings.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the appointment time: no charge
- Cancellations within 24 hours: may be subject to a 50% service fee
- No-shows: may be charged the full service fee and may forfeit future appointment privileges
We understand emergencies happen — call us as soon as you can and we'll work with you.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time. If you're more than 15 minutes late, we may need to modify or reschedule your service to respect the appointments that follow yours. Service-fee adjustments may apply if a shorter service is performed.
Payment
Payment is due at the conclusion of your service. We accept major credit and debit cards and cash. Gift cards may be applied toward services and are non-refundable for cash value. Prices are subject to change without notice; the price quoted at the time of booking is the price you'll pay.
Refunds
Because nail services are personal and labor-intensive, we don't offer cash refunds. If you're unhappy with your service, please tell us before you leave the salon — we will do our best to make it right at no additional charge.
Service Results & Health Disclosures
Our techs are licensed and follow Washington State sanitation requirements. Service results vary based on natural nail condition, lifestyle, and aftercare. Please disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or recent treatments (chemotherapy, blood thinners, fungal conditions) before your service so we can adjust safely.
Liability
You agree to provide accurate health information and to follow your tech's guidance. Lux Nails is not liable for adverse reactions, injury, or damage resulting from undisclosed conditions, post-service neglect, or misuse of products.
Photos & Likeness
We may take photos of nail work for our portfolio, website, and social media. Photos focus on nails and hands without identifying you. If you don't want photos taken, let your tech know — we will not photograph your work.
Intellectual Property
The Lux Nails name, logo, photographs, and website content are our property and may not be reproduced without permission.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Clark County, Washington.
